Indeed, you read that right—and yes, you read the headline in English. Let me explain why. Since yesterday, we can proudly say that we are one of the Top 100 Best Workplaces in Europe. And we say it loud and clear: WE ARE THE ONLY HOTEL CHAIN IN THE RANKING!

This has been confirmed by Great Place To Work itself, when publishing its list of the best companies to work for in Europe, placing us at number 39 among the 100 best medium-sized companies to work for. A milestone that makes our “big family” a little better known internationally—hence us going more international than ever 😊.

This recognition demonstrates that at MarSenses Hotels & Homes we want to keep betting on our guests, as we have since our beginnings five years ago, while also continuing to take care of the most important and beautiful thing we have: our family. The family made up of each and every person who works in our hotels, restaurants, and head offices.

To make things clearer and easier to understand, here’s a quick journey through the different milestones and awards that have brought us to where we are today.

In 2024, we achieved certification as a Great Place to Work, proving that MarSenses is an organization with a high-trust culture, capable of attracting and retaining talent. That same year, we reduced the working week to 38.5 hours without affecting employees’ salaries.

And from one recognition to another. This year, in 2025, we became one of the Best Workplaces in Spain, ranking as the fourth best company to work for in the 251–500 employees category. A recognition that filled us with joy and gave us even more strength to keep working for our team’s well-being.

And that’s exactly what we did—twice over, in fact. We reduced the working week again, this time down to 37.5 hours, a measure that came into effect on June 15th. At the same time, we also reduced the working hours for our Housekeeping colleagues over 58 years old, so their workweek is now just 32 hours. Another milestone in our ongoing mission to take care of our people.

But there’s more!
At the start of this season, the company implemented a 5% salary increase, in addition to the 3% already introduced in 2024, making it an 8% increase in total.

All the measures implemented so far—and those planned for the near future—reflect the company’s commitment to the people who make MarSenses Hotels & Homes a benchmark in many areas, but above all in caring for people.

And of course, this now translates into yet another reason to celebrate. Since yesterday (as we mentioned at the start), we can proudly add a new milestone: we are now Best Workplaces Europe 2025. BRAVO!
