In May 2024, at MarSenses Hotels & Homes, we launched a very special project as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, Care. This project aims to promote socio-labor inclusion through training programs and work placements targeted at vulnerable groups in the Balearic Islands.

We collaborate with organizations such as GREC (Group of Street Educators and Work for Minors), the Incorpora and Reincorpora programs of the “la Caixa” Foundation, and the Penitentiary Labor and Employment Training Agency (OATFE). Together, we work to provide opportunities to those who need them most, boosting their confidence and motivation while integrating them into the labor market.

Training with Real Impact

At our central kitchen, we have developed three theoretical-practical training courses for kitchen assistants. This program has enabled individuals deprived of liberty and other vulnerable groups to acquire essential technical and interpersonal skills for their reintegration into the workforce.

The results so far are encouraging:

  • Total participants: 31
  • Individuals completing internships at our work centers: 12
  • Formal employment contracts at our centers: 7

These figures reflect the positive impact of this project, both on the participants’ lives and on our operations, as it helps us meet staffing needs with motivated and well-trained talent.

Our Commitment to Positive Change

At MarSenses, we firmly believe that businesses should be agents of social change. Through Care, we continue working to create opportunities that transform lives, fostering inclusion, equality, and progress within our community.

Thank you to everyone who makes this project possible. Let’s keep building a more inclusive and hopeful future together.

Because together, we can make a difference!
