Mallorca is well known worldwide as a sun-and-beach destination. However, the island’s cultural offerings are growing stronger every day. There’s much more to do than just lie on the sand.
In addition to permanent – and some traveling – exhibitions in the island’s museums, Mallorca also hosts numerous concerts, theatre performances, and cultural events worth checking out.

Some of the most noteworthy venues where you’ll find plenty of options to enjoy a different kind of evening include Son Fusteret, the Auditòrium de Palma, Trui Teatre, Es Jardí, and many smaller venues where a unique show awaits you each night.

In the Calvià area, Es Jardí offers a wide range of concerts on summer nights, with something for every taste and musical style. From nostalgic 80s hits to the latest Spanish pop music – all in an open-air setting with a fantastic atmosphere.

You can find more information and tickets on their website: www.esjardimallorca.com

Another key venue for enjoying live concerts and outdoor events is Son Fusteret, located in Palma near the Son Castelló industrial estate.
In addition to pop concerts (LEIVA will perform on August 9) and indie music (featuring Arde Bogotá on August 23), this year you’ll also find a variety of electronic music parties.

But if you’re someone who prefers the cozy atmosphere of a theatre, with more intimate and less grandiose performances – full of laughter, live music, and a closer connection with the audience – there’s something for you too.

Both Trui Teatre and Auditòrium de Palma offer programs that cater perfectly to your preferences.

For example, at the Auditòrium, you can enjoy Swan Lake brought to life by the magic of the Kiev Ballet on August 14th  and 15th .
Meanwhile, internationally renowned musician Ara Malikian will bring his Intruso World Tour to Trui Teatre in the Palma on September 13th  – a show full of emotion and sensitivity.

For more information about the scheduled shows and ticket purchases, visit their websites: Auditòrium (www.auditoriumpalma.com) and Trui Teatre (www.truiteatre.es).

Don’t miss the incredible cultural offerings Mallorca has in store for you!
