At MarSenses Hotels & Homes, we believe that a company can only truly grow if it takes care of the people who make it possible. That’s why this year, we’re taking another step forward to honor that commitment: we’re once again reducing the working hours for our entire team!

Starting June 15, everyone who is part of MarSenses will work 37.5 hours per week. That’s one hour less than in 2024, when we had already reduced the schedule to 38.5 hours. The best part? This reduction does not come with any pay cut. On the contrary, it’s part of our commitment to work-life balance and employee well-being.

And that’s not all. This season, we’ve also applied a 5% salary increase in anticipation of the collective agreement, which adds to last year’s 3% raise—reaching a total increase of 8% in just two years. Because we know that daily effort deserves real recognition.

In addition, we’re maintaining the departmental performance bonus of €100 per person per month, which we introduced last season. It’s an extra boost designed to help cope with the high cost of living, especially in a place like the Balearic Islands, where we know it’s not always easy to make ends meet.

These decisions don’t come out of nowhere—they’re the result of listening, talking, and working together to create a fairer, more human, and more motivating work environment. And it looks like we’re on the right track… This year, we’ve been recognized as one of the best companies to work for in Spain, making it onto the Best Workplaces 2025 list. A true honor!
