With an extensive career in front of the cookers of prestigious restaurants and hotels, as well as a restaurant businessman, he was the owner of the Porto Pi Restaurant for which he obtained a Michelin Star and the title of best restaurant in the Balearic Islands in 2004. Since then he has not stopped and has cooked in different places around the world such as Mallorca, Formentera, San Sebastian, Madrid, Berlin, Jakarta and France. Two years ago he launched his first recipe book where many of his favourite creations are collected and he has been a gastronomic advisor to training institutions. Now Jacinto del Valle is joining MarSenses Puerto Pollensa Hotel & Spa, an adults-only accommodation of the Balearic hotel chain MarSenses Hotels & Homes.
“We want to be a hotel of reference not only for the quality of our accommodation and services, but also for having an irresistible gastronomic offer that is far superior to what the client expects. Since our inception we have been working to promote Balearic culture in our hotels and especially in our gastronomic offer in all our hotels and it is now, with the arrival of Jacinto, that we can consolidate this work operationally and creatively,” says Rodrigo Fitaroni, General Manager of the company.
The Puerto de Pollensa establishment offers a gastronomic proposal equivalent to that of a 5-star hotel. Starting the day with a buffet breakfast with proposals for all tastes complemented with dishes prepared on the spot. Finishing it with a dinner that has a carefully selected buffet that every day offers different creations of Mediterranean gastronomy but also Indian, Asian or XXX complemented with a menu of dishes of the day created by our kitchen team.
“This is the first year of a very ambitious project that aims to make gastronomy one of the pillars of MarSenses Hotels & Homes, adapting to all types of clients of our hotels,” says Jacinto del Valle.
With this incorporation, the company reinforces its commitment to preserving our environment by investing in quality and km.0 products through local suppliers, seasonal products and by recycling all food waste to turn it into compost.
The MarSenses Puerto Pollensa Hotel & Spa opened its 2022 season in March and this new commitment has been very well received by its clients and it plans to continue offering its services until the end of October.
