Last Tuesday, 24th May, our colleague Tolo Vilanova, assistant manager of MarSenses Puerto Pollensa Hotel & Spa, collected the SICTED distinction for Tourism Quality in Pollença awarded to our adults-only accommodation.

Within the framework of the Integral System of Tourism Quality in Destinations (SICTED), this is a recognition of the commitment to continuous qualitative improvement with the ultimate goal of improving the experience and satisfaction of the tourist, with the support of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).

For its part, Pollença is one of the pioneering municipalities to implement this tourism quality system, the benefits of which are:

• To establish a permanent management structure that ensures the increase in competitiveness of the destination’s tourist companies.
  
• To offer a homogeneous level of quality in all tourist services. To increase tourist satisfaction and foster tourist loyalty.
  
• To increase the involvement and participation of business owners in the development of tourism in the destination. To participate together with 191 destinations in a nationwide project.
