1.10 Torrent de Pareis.

It is located in the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana, to get there you have to go in the direction of La Calobra, a journey by car or public transport that runs through this mountain range, on a winding road, unique in Spain, 900 metres high, a work of engineering, among the beautiful landscape you will discover a Roman aqueduct, holm oak forests and pine forests that cover the mountain range.

The beach itself is the mouth of a torrent that runs through the Sierra Tramuntana range and flows into the Mediterranean. The beach is pebble beach and the area is rich in fauna and flora, with species endemic to the area.

Access is from Cala de la Calobra along a path and through a cave, it is easy and can be done in 15 minutes, enjoying the spectacular views.

2.10 Cala Mondragó y Cala S’Amarador.

Near the town of Santanyi and within the Natural Park of Mondragó, in the south of Mallorca, there are two adjoining coves, their main characteristic is the Mediterranean vegetation with cliffs and white sand, the coastal area is characterised by the Posidonia oceanica meadows that purify the water. 3.10 Caló des Moro.

Caló des Moro - Majorca

Once again we are moving around the municipality of Santanyi, in the south of Mallorca. It is a tongue of the Mediterranean that sculpts a cove with walls of several metres, making it one of the most beautiful in the area. The beach has a small area of white sand and transparent waters. In high season it is one of the busiest and although it is not easily accessible, you have to go very early in the morning to find a place to lay your towel.

4.10 Playa Es Trenc.

Es Trenc - Majorca

We continue in the south of the island, but in this case we move westwards to the municipality of Campos. Here we can find one of the most spectacular beaches on the island of Mallorca, a perfectly preserved dune ecosystem, together with pine woods, mountains, tamarinds and the only human intervention of some salt pans and bunkers, the latter in military disuse, and converted into a source of inspiration for artists. It is in the Es Salobrar marshland, a protected area of special environmental interest.

5.10 Cala Tuent.

We return to the north of the island, to the Sierra Tramuntana mountain range and therefore to the municipality of Escorca. The beach is located at the foot of the highest mountain on the island, Puig Major, and the path leads through pine woods and olive trees shaped by the wind, the access is narrow and winding, until you reach the coast, bathed by crystal-clear waters and pebbles as a carpet.

6.10 Cala Agulla

Located in the municipality of Cala Ratjada, it has been declared a Natural Area of Special Interest. The mountainous environment that surrounds it, together with the pine forests and the incredible light blue colour of its waters make it a spectacular place. On bad sea days, when waves form, it is usually frequented by surfers. It has a car park with a charge, which means that the beach is quite busy in the summer season.

7.10 Formentor Beach

Located in the municipality of Pollensa and a few kilometres from the Port of Pollensa, in the northwest of the island, this beach is very busy in summer and access is restricted in summer to avoid traffic jams. 8.10 Caló des Màrmols

Located in the south of the island, to reach it you have to walk for an hour from the Cap de Salines lighthouse or by boat. It is advisable to bring suitable footwear, food and drink as it is one of the few unspoilt coves left in Mallorca and is not very crowded, much less so than its neighbour Caló des Moro.
